CLI 0.2.0

Released .

ScopeDB CLI 0.2.0 is available in public preview. This is an incremental update to CLI 0.1.0, focused on API key management in shared workspaces.

What's changed since 0.1.0

  • scope api-key revoke revokes by key ID. Names can repeat within a workspace; a unique name remains a shorthand, while ambiguous names are rejected before deletion.
  • scope api-key list shows each key's creator, helping workspace owners identify members' keys with the same name.
  • Fix mismatched account and workspace details in scope workspace get and scope auth status when another terminal changes the login.

Upgrade

Choose the steps for your installed CLI, shown by scope version:

  • From 0.1.0: use IDs from scope api-key list in revocation scripts so repeated names cannot make the target ambiguous. Your saved login and workspace selection remain usable.
  • From a 0.1.0 release candidate: also apply the command, login, and JSON changes introduced in 0.1.0. You can install 0.2.0 directly; installing 0.1.0 first is unnecessary.

To install this version from source with Go 1.27 or later:

go install github.com/scopedb/scopedb-cli/cmd/scope@v0.2.0
scope version

For the current CLI's prebuilt archives and checksum verification, follow the installation guide.

Use key IDs in automation:

scope api-key list
scope api-key revoke '<key-id>' --yes --format json

Replace <key-id> with the ID shown by list. Revoke JSON results add id alongside name and revoked; update strict JSON schemas to accept the new field. See listing and revoking keys for permissions, name matching, and interactive confirmation.
